Padilla cigars

Ernesto Padilla founded his namesake brand in Miami in 2003, drawing on a family tradition that reaches back a generation — the Padilla Signature 1932 line takes its name from the birth year of his father, Heberto Padilla, a Cuban poet who became a celebrated figure in literary and exile circles. That sense of personal tribute runs throughout the brand, which has always positioned itself as a family project as much as a commercial venture.

The Miami line is produced at El Titan de Bronze, the small hand-rolling shop in Miami's Little Havana that remains one of the few functioning cigar factories on U.S. soil. Rolling there is a deliberate statement: Padilla wants the origin story visible in the product. The Reserva, made in partnership with Oliva Cigar Company, takes a different direction — a richer, fuller Nicaraguan profile that earned a Top 25 appearance in Cigar Aficionado and expanded the brand's retail footprint beyond the boutique tier.

The current portfolio has been restructured around four active lines. Miami and Miami Maduro emphasize the El Titan de Bronze heritage in natural and San Andrés wrapped expressions. Invictus, wrapped in Ecuadorian habano, joined the lineup as a premium small-batch offering also rolled in Miami every two months in three vitolas. The Reserve continues through Oliva and reaches the domestic market in both Habano and Maduro formats.

Padilla operates independently and distributes selectively, with a premium on craft credentials and the Miami manufacturing story.
