The Padilla Reserva Maduro takes the same Nicaraguan core as the Habano — filler from Estelí and Jalapa — and wraps it in a dark, naturally fermented Mexican San Andres Maduro leaf. What it tastes like

The San Andres wrapper is dark as roasted coffee beans, oily and slightly toothy to the touch. The cold draw opens with cocoa and a hint of molasses. Lit, the first third is all espresso and dark chocolate — bold without being harsh. Black pepper builds through the middle third alongside an earthy, resinous cedar note. The Nicaraguan Estelí filler adds structure while the Jalapa leaf keeps the sweetness in play. The finish is long, semi-sweet, and grounded.
