Flavor profile

Creamy · Earthy · Roast · Spice

The Padilla Reserva line was built to deliver premium-quality blending at an approachable price, and the Habano Torpedo is the line's most refined expression. Made at the Tabacalera Oliva factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, this 6 x 54 puts an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan filler sourced from the Oliva farms in Condega and the Jalapa Valley — two of the most prized growing regions in Central America.

What it tastes like

The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper is smooth, honey-toned, and immediately creamy on the draw. Cedar opens things up, followed by roasted nuts and a touch of light pepper. The Jalapa-grown Nicaraguan filler adds a mild earthiness that underpins the whole smoke. The torpedo tip tightens the draw in the first inch, then opens into a satisfying medium-bodied experience that never gets harsh. The finish is clean with a nutty, leather note.

Who it's for

This is a great everyday cigar — approachable enough for intermediate smokers but interesting enough that experienced hands won't be bored. It's an ideal introduction to Nicaraguan leaf under a Habano wrapper, and makes an excellent comparison point for anyone exploring habano vs. Connecticut wrapper.
