The Seleccion de Cazador — universally known as the Brown Label — is the cigar that launched Tatuaje back in 2003 and put Pete Johnson on the map. The Regios is its 5 x 50 Robusto, the everyday workhorse of the line and the size that first defined the brand's Cuban-esque, García-built style.

What it tastes like

This is a medium-full smoke under an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with an all-Nicaraguan core. It leans into the classic Cuban-inspired profile Tatuaje is famous for: cedar and black pepper up front, cocoa and earth in the middle, and a leathery, slightly sweet finish. There's real spice and depth here, but the balance is impeccable — a hallmark of the García family's work. Construction is excellent, with an even burn and an easy draw.

Who it's for

The Brown Label rewards smokers with some experience who appreciate a peppery, traditional Habano profile. It's a versatile after-meal cigar — pair it with espresso, bourbon, or an aged rum. As one of the most Cuban-styled Nicaraguan cigars out there, it's a perfect candidate for our Cuban vs Nicaraguan comparison, and if you want this blend in a sweeter maduro dress, see the Reserva J21 Broadleaf.
