Flavor profile

Roast · Balanced · Sweet · Spice · Earthy

Cosecha 151 is the bolder companion to Cosecha 146 — another single-harvest concept, but built around Plasencia's Honduran farms. La Tradición is its 5.875 x 54 Toro, wrapped in a darker, savory leaf over Honduran and Nicaraguan filler for a noticeably heavier experience than the 146.

What it tastes like

This one has muscle. It opens with roasted coffee and pecan, moves into dark chocolate and a touch of dried fruit, and finishes with cinnamon, oak and a real undercurrent of red pepper. It's a medium-to-full, "beefy" smoke with bursts of spice that surface as it burns — rich and savory rather than sweet. Construction is clean and the burn holds well over a slow hour-plus.

Who it's for

Best for experienced smokers who want a bold, spicy cigar with depth; newer smokers should come to it after some medium sticks. Pair it with espresso, bourbon or a dark beer. Because the filler reaches into Nicaragua too, it's a good lens on that country's tobacco — see Cuban vs Nicaraguan cigars, and the cigar strength guide for where "medium-full" lands. Rate it and log notes in the Casa DNC app, or try the milder, balanced Cosecha 146 San Luis.
