The Guajiro is the thicker, slightly longer Robusto in the Alma del Campo line — a 5.5 x 54 Double Robusto. Like the rest of the series it's a Nicaraguan puro made entirely from Criollo-seed tobacco grown and aged on the Plasencia family's own farms, under a milk-chocolate-hued wrapper.

What it tastes like

The extra ring gauge gives this one a touch more body than the Tribu while keeping the line's signature sweetness. Expect sweet tobacco and earth, nutty coffee through the middle, and a smooth cream on the finish, with cedar and a hint of fruit throughout. The draw is open and easy and the smoke is generous, so it stays relaxed even as the flavors build.

Who it's for

A medium-to-full cigar for smokers who want the Alma del Campo profile in a slightly richer, longer format. Great with coffee or a malty beer. As a single-origin Nicaraguan it's a clean example of the country's style — see Cuban vs Nicaraguan cigars for how it compares to Havana, and the cigar strength guide for where "medium-full" sits. Keep tasting notes and rate it in the Casa DNC app, or start smaller with the Tribu.
