The Eduardo I rounds out the Alma Fuerte family alongside the Sixto, Nestor and Generación vitolas, each named for a generation of the Plasencia family. This is the Colorado Claro Toro — a slightly dressier, more aromatic take on the ultra-premium Nicaraguan puro that defines the line.

What it tastes like

Smoother than the darker Nestor IV, the Eduardo opens soft and rich with smoked almond and baking spice, a touch of molasses sweetness, and leather and sweet wood as it develops. There's a measured pepper on the finish but nothing harsh. It's medium-to-full, building gently rather than coming out swinging — an easy cigar to spend time with.

Who it's for

A great entry point into the Alma Fuerte line for smokers who already enjoy medium cigars and want to step up. It's still a premium, full-flavored stick, so give it time and pair it with something rich. Curious how Nicaraguan tobacco compares to Cuban? Read Cuban vs Nicaraguan cigars. If "medium-full" is fuzzy, the cigar strength guide helps. Rate it and keep tasting notes in the Casa DNC app, and for the bolder end of the line try the Nestor IV.
