Ashton · Virgin Sun Grown (VSG)
New WorldExperiencedAshton VSG Sorcerer
The Ashton VSG Sorcerer is a full-bodied 7 x 49 Dominican Churchill under a dark Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, rich with espresso, cedar, pepper, and leather.
Flavor profile
Roast · Earthy · Spice
The Ashton VSG Sorcerer is the Churchill of Ashton's full-bodied Virgin Sun Grown line, a 7 x 49 that lets all that richness develop over a long, deliberate smoke. Like the rest of VSG it combines well-aged Dominican binder and filler with a dark, oily Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, the tobaccos resting four to five years before rolling.
What it tastes like
This is a deep, full-bodied cigar with espresso, cedar, black pepper, leather, and earth, plus the signature oily richness VSG is known for. The Churchill length gives the blend room to build and shift through the smoke rather than hitting you all at once, which makes the Sorcerer feel a touch more refined than the shorter VSG sizes while staying every bit as bold. Construction is excellent, with a cool, even burn.
Who it is for
It is a cigar for experienced smokers with an hour-plus to spare and an appetite for power and complexity. Best enjoyed after a meal, with coffee or a spirit alongside. If you want to understand why this sits at the far end of Ashton's lineup, the cigar strength guide breaks down full-bodied profiles.
