The Fuente Fuente OpusX is one of the most sought-after cigars in the world. When Carlos Fuente Jr. proved you could grow a world-class wrapper in the Dominican Republic — at the family's Chateau de la Fuente estate — he created the first true Dominican puro. The Robusto, five and a quarter inches at a 50 ring gauge, is many smokers' entry point to the legend.
What it tastes like
OpusX is bold and refined at once. The proprietary Dominican Rosado wrapper drives a full-bodied profile: cedar and assertive black pepper, dark chocolate, leather, and layered spice that evolves as you smoke. The robusto concentrates all of it into a powerful, complex hour. This is a cigar that earns its reputation.
