The PerfecXion No. 2 is arguably the signature shape of the OpusX line — a tapered torpedo, about six and a half inches at a 52 ring gauge. It's the same first-ever Dominican puro grown at Chateau de la Fuente, in the shape many fans consider the OpusX at its best.

What it tastes like

The proprietary Dominican Rosado wrapper delivers OpusX's hallmark intensity: cedar and bold black pepper, dark chocolate, leather, and a sweet spice that shifts and builds as the cigar burns. The torpedo head concentrates the smoke and lets you control the draw, drawing out the complexity of a full-bodied, world-class blend over a long, layered smoke.

Who it's for

An aficionado's grail — full-bodied, costly, and famously scarce. It rewards an experienced palate and an unhurried evening. Smoke it slowly after a meal with an espresso, cognac, or aged rum, and give it your full attention.

Prefer a straight-sided OpusX? The Robusto is the classic parallel format. Nicking a tapered head cleanly matters here — see how to cut a cigar — and given the body, the cigar strength guide is handy. Rate this one in the Casa DNC app.
