1875 Nicaragua is Altadis's all-Nicaraguan version of the classic 1875 line, a complete change of direction from the smooth, Indonesian-wrapped Dominican original. Built as a Nicaraguan puro at the Plasencia factory in Estelí, it's aimed squarely at smokers who want more strength and spice.

What it tastes like

This is a medium-full smoke made entirely from Nicaraguan Habano leaf. Expect cedar and a firm black-pepper spice up front, with cocoa, coffee, and an earthy depth filling in behind it. It's richer and more robust than the Dominican 1875, and the all-Nicaraguan blend gives it that characteristic punch. The 6 by 52 toro burns evenly over a solid hour.
