Rocky Patel · The Edge
New WorldExperienced smokersRocky Patel The Edge Habano Toro
The Nicaraguan-puro Edge — a dark, oily Habano wrapper over all-Nicaraguan tobacco from Estelí, Condega and Jalapa. Bold, spicy and well balanced.
Flavor profile
Spice · Roast · Earthy
The Edge Habano was a first for the line: a Nicaraguan puro, built entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco where the earlier Edge blends leaned on Honduras. It wraps a dark, oily Habano-seed leaf around binder and filler from Estelí, Condega and Jalapa. This is the 6 x 52 Toro.
What it tastes like
Being a puro, everything here speaks the same Nicaraguan language: pepper and dark spice up front, espresso and cedar through the middle, and an earthy base. It's a bold, flavorful smoke that lands at medium-full — a touch more balanced and refined than the full-throttle Corojo, with a long, spicy finish.
Who it's for
A great pick for a smoker who wants the Edge's signature boldness in a cleaner, all-Nicaraguan package. Pair it with espresso, an aged rum, or bourbon. Our Cuban vs Nicaraguan note explains what makes a Nicaraguan puro tick, and the cigar strength guide helps place it.
Track it in the Casa DNC app and compare it with the Honduran-wrapped Edge Corojo Toro and the darker Edge Maduro Toro.
