The Edge was Rocky Patel's answer to smokers who wanted more power, built with the late master blender Nestor Plasencia. The original Corojo version is the one that made the line's name: a dark Honduran Corojo wrapper over a filler loaded with ligero, the plant's strongest, oiliest leaves. This is the 6 x 52 Toro.

What it tastes like

Over a Nicaraguan binder, that ligero-heavy Honduran-Nicaraguan filler delivers serious punch — black pepper and leather up front, espresso and cedar through the middle, and a deep earthy base. It's a genuinely full-bodied smoke with a long, peppery finish, and you'll want some food in you before lighting one.

Who it's for

This is a cigar for experienced smokers who chase strength and bold flavor — not a starting point. Pair it with espresso, bourbon, or a stout to stand up to the power. If you're not sure you're ready for full, the cigar strength guide is worth a look, and our Cuban vs Nicaraguan note frames the style.

Track it in the Casa DNC app, then compare it with the darker Edge Maduro Toro and the all-Nicaraguan Edge Habano Toro.
