Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Maduro Toro

The Olde World Reserve Maduro is the darker, more powerful counterpart to the line's Corojo. It wears a striking Costa Rican Maduro wrapper over a Honduran binder and a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan filler, hand-rolled in Nicaragua at the TaviCusa factory. This is the box-pressed 6.5 x 52 Toro.

What it tastes like

The dark Costa Rican Maduro wrapper drives a rich, full-bodied profile: dark chocolate and leather up front, oak and nuts through the middle, and a firm spice underneath. It's a meatier, more assertive smoke than the Corojo — deeper and sweeter, with a long finish and a smooth, even box-pressed burn.
