New WorldEverydayPerdomo Lot 23 Maduro Toro
The toro in Perdomo's single-farm Lot 23 Maduro — a 6 x 50 Nicaraguan puro with smooth cocoa, coffee and brown sugar at an easy medium.
Flavor profile
Sweet · Roast · Earthy
The Toro is the longer format of Perdomo's Lot 23 Maduro, a 6 x 50 built on the same single-farm Nicaraguan tobacco. Wrapper, binder, and filler all come from the Lot 23 plot in Estelí and carry at least five years of age, finished here with a dark, five-year-aged maduro leaf.
What it tastes like
This is a smooth, medium maduro. Cocoa and coffee lead, with cedar, a touch of brown sugar, and an earthy backbone rounding it out. The toro length lets the sweetness build slowly, so it feels a little fuller in the back half without ever crossing into heavy territory. As with all of Lot 23, the long aging keeps it polished and the burn keeps it tidy.
Who it's for
It is a dependable everyday maduro and a comfortable step up in size from the robusto. If you want a shorter smoke, the Maduro Robusto is the same blend. To compare it with Cuba's style, our Cuban vs Nicaraguan guide is worth a look, and there are more Perdomo cigars to browse.
