Sweet · Roast · Earthy · Spice
The Estate Seleccion Vintage is Perdomo's top-shelf line, hand-crafted from the best of the family's estate-grown tobacco at the Finca Natalie farm in Estelí. The Maduro is the fullest expression of it. This box-pressed Imperio is the 6 x 54 toro, a Nicaraguan puro under a dark, oily maduro wrapper.
What it tastes like
This is a full-bodied, richly flavored smoke. Dark chocolate and espresso lead, with leather, oak, and a firm black-pepper spine running through the finish. There is real depth and intensity here — this is the most powerful cigar in Perdomo's everyday catalog — but the top-grade tobacco keeps it from ever feeling rough. The box press gives it a clean look and a comfortable hold.
