New WorldEverydayPadrón 4000 Maduro
A 6.5 x 54 maduro toro from Padrón's everyday Thousand Series — cocoa, coffee and earth at a fair price, with the brand's signature construction.
The Padrón 4000 is one of the most popular cigars in the Thousand Series — Padrón's entry-level line and, for many smokers, their first taste of the brand. Unlike the box-pressed Anniversary lines, the Thousand Series is a traditional round cigar. It's still an all-Nicaraguan puro, aged a minimum of two-and-a-half years, and it punches well above its price.
What it tastes like
This 6.5 x 54 maduro toro is medium-full and richly flavored: cocoa and coffee lead, with an earthy core, cedar, and a steady pepper note. It's not as polished or as powerful as the 1926 or Family Reserve lines, but it delivers the core Padrón character — balanced, smooth, and impeccably constructed — for a fraction of the price.
Who it's for
This is a fantastic everyday cigar and a great introduction to Padrón. If you fall for it, the 1964 Imperial Maduro is the next step up in the same shape. New to maduro wrappers? See maduro vs Connecticut.
It's a budget-friendly way into Nicaraguan cigars, perfect for the Cuban vs Nicaraguan comparison. Pair it with a coffee or a porter, and log it in your humidor with the Casa DNC app.
