New WorldExperiencedCrowned Heads Mil Dias Edmundo
A 5 3/8 x 52 Ecuador Habano cigar made at Tabacalera Pichardo in Nicaragua. Cedar, nuts, and pepper in a medium-plus, full-flavored everyday smoke.
Mil Dias — Spanish for "a thousand days" — is named for the roughly three years it took Jon Huber and the team at ACE Prime to dial in the blend. It's made at Tabacalera Pichardo in Esteli, Nicaragua, and uses an unusually international core: a Nicaraguan binder around filler from Nicaragua, Peru, and Costa Rica, all under an Ecuador Habano wrapper. The Edmundo is a short, thick 5 3/8 x 52.
What it tastes like
This is a medium-plus cigar with full flavor. Expect cedar, roasted nuts, black pepper, and earth, with a subtle herbal note that gives it a distinctive character compared to more straightforward Nicaraguan blends. The multinational filler shows up as a layered, slightly complex profile that stays balanced and smooth. Construction is clean, with a steady burn and easy draw.
Who it's for
The Edmundo suits experienced smokers who want flavor and a bit of complexity in an hour-long format, and curious intermediates will get along with it too. It's a fine daytime or after-meal cigar with coffee or aged rum.
