The Toro Huaco is the big-ring expression of Foundation's legendary El Güegüense line. At 6 × 56, the wider ring gauge (huaco roughly translates to "hollow" or "wide" in regional Nicaraguan dialect) allows the all-Corojo '99 blend from Jalapa to breathe and develop in ways the robusto simply cannot. Same triple-cap construction, same sourcing from Fincas Puntalito and San Jose, same Estelí and Jalapa filler — but the extra girth adds dimension.

What it tastes like

The wide ring gauge tempers the spice slightly compared to the robusto, letting cedar and toasted nut notes take an earlier lead.
