New WorldExperiencedDunbarton Mi Querida Triqui Traca No. 652
The Triqui Traca No. 652 builds on the Mi Querida chassis by adding Dominican ligero to the filler, amping up body and pepper — Saka's 'firecracker' earns its name in the classic toro format.

The Dunbarton Mi Querida Triqui Traca No. 652 is Steve Saka's evolved take on the Mi Querida formula — "Triqui Traca" is Nicaraguan slang for firecrackers, which describes the character shift he built into this sub-line. The vitola name itself is a Saka signature: the No. 652 denotes a 6-inch length by 52 ring gauge, a direct toro.
What sets Triqui Traca apart from the core Mi Querida is the filler: Saka added Dominican Republic ligero to the Nicaraguan long-leaf blend, which amplifies body, extends the retrohale spice, and gives the smoke a longer, more complex finish than the all-Nicaragua version. The wrapper is still Connecticut Broadleaf — this time sourced as No. 1 Dark grade — and the binder remains Nicaraguan, produced at NACSA in Estelí.
The profile opens with the familiar Broadleaf dark cocoa sweetness, then the Dominican ligero begins making its presence known by the second third with a building white pepper note and a deeper, richer leather character. The finish is long and espresso-forward with a dried cherry sweetness that lingers well after the last draw.
Triqui Traca is aimed at smokers who found the core Mi Querida excellent but wanted a bit more firepower. The vitola numbering system (No. 448, 552, 648, 652, 764) makes navigating the line intuitive.
