Flavor profile

Spice · Earthy · Sweet

The Blue Label is Don Pepín García's original full-bodied line, the cigar that helped build his legend for spicy, expertly rolled Nicaraguan smokes. The Invictos is the robusto-sized vitola at 5 x 50 — an all-Nicaraguan puro under an oily, cinnamon-brown Corojo Oscuro wrapper, with a Criollo binder and a Criollo-and-Corojo filler.

What it tastes like

This is a bold, classic Pepín blend. Expect a big hit of black pepper up front — the kind that lights up the retrohale — settling into cedar, cocoa, earth, and leather. It's full-bodied and unapologetically flavorful, but the blending keeps it balanced rather than punishing. Construction is superb, with a slow even burn and a firm, satisfying draw that's a García trademark.

Who it's for

This is a full-strength cigar best saved for aficionados with a developed palate; newcomers will likely find that pepper intense. As an all-Nicaraguan puro it's a perfect reference for our Cuban vs Nicaraguan comparison, and our cigar strength guide helps you understand what "full" really means.

Smoke it after a meal with an espresso or bourbon, then log and rate it in the Casa DNC app.
