Camacho Liberty 2020 Gordo

The Camacho Liberty Series was the brand's yearly limited edition, and the 2020 release broke from tradition: instead of the line's familiar Honduran-heavy 11/18 shape, it came as a box-pressed 6 x 60 Gordo with a diverse multi-country blend. It still centered on Camacho's signature Honduran-grown Original Corojo, using four different primings of that leaf to build the profile.

What it tastes like

This is a full-bodied, bold smoke in line with the Liberty Series reputation. Leather, black pepper, and earth lead, with dark chocolate and cedar filling in behind. The big box-pressed Gordo format keeps the smoke cool and plentiful, letting the layered Corojo primings show off depth and a satisfying richness from light to nub.
