At this size the Habano wrapper contributes over an extended burn that reveals layers the shorter vitolas can't develop.

What it tastes like

The Dominican Habano wrapper delivers peanut and caramel early. The slender ring gauge means the wrapper has an outsized influence on the draw — expect sweetness throughout. As the cigar progresses, gingerbread and cedar build, with cream softening the back half. Medium-to-full in body; the strength builds gradually across two hours. Made at Tabacalera William Ventura (now closed; production moved post-2022).

Who it's for

The Corona Larga is a Sunday cigar — you need time and a good drink alongside it.
