New WorldExperiencedAVO Domaine No. 10
AVO Domaine No. 10 — a 5⅛ x 50 Dominican using tobacco grown on Avo Uvezian's own Domaine AVO farm, wrapped in double-fermented Ecuadorian sun-grown leaf for earthy, spiced medium complexity.
Flavor profile
Earthy · Spice · Roast · Sweet
The Domaine line is as personal as AVO gets: the tobaccos in the filler come from Avo Uvezian's own farm in the Dominican Republic — the "Domaine AVO." What's more, the Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper goes through a second fermentation in the Dominican Republic before rolling, deepening its character well beyond what a standard Connecticut or sun-grown leaf provides.
What it tastes like
The double-fermented wrapper shows immediately in color and texture: darker, more oily, and more aromatic than the Classic's Connecticut leaf. The draw opens with earth and cedar, then a warming spice builds steadily through the first half. Caramel and roasted nuts from the aged Domaine AVO filler add sweetness and body mid-smoke. The finish is earthy and long, with the cedar note anchoring everything as the smoke cools. Medium body throughout, with enough going on to hold the attention of experienced smokers without overwhelming less-seasoned palates.
It's a cigar that earned a 91-point rating from Cigar Aficionado and a Top 50 placement — which is notable but doesn't fully convey how quietly impressive this blend is session after session.
Who it's for
The Domaine No. 10 suits experienced smokers who want a medium-bodied cigar with genuine provenance — knowing that the filler came from the blender's own farm is a satisfying piece of the story. It pairs naturally with rum or dark beer. For context on how sun-grown leaf sits between Connecticut and maduro, our Maduro vs. Connecticut comparison is worth a read.
