Introduced in 2019 and rolled at Plasencia's Estelí, Nicaragua factory, the Bin No. 2 is a Nicaraguan puro that draws its defining character from tobacco grown on Ometepe Island — a rare double-volcano island rising from Lake Nicaragua, where volcanic mineral soil creates a uniquely rich and bold leaf.

The Estelí wrapper presents a slightly rustic but firmly constructed exterior; the Ometepe binder and multi-regional filler (Ometepe, Estelí, Jalapa) build a complex, layered core with leather, smoke, and dark chocolate up front. Dried fruit and earth emerge through the mid-section, and nuts provide a satisfying late-smoke sweetness. The 5 3/4 × 54 robusto doble is the sweet spot of the line — generous enough for the volcanic terroir to express itself fully, compact enough to maintain focus.
