The Cranium sits at the top of the original CroMagnon lineup by sheer ring gauge and smoking time. At 6 × 54, this Gran Toro gives the Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, Cameroon binder, and three-region Nicaraguan filler blend the most real estate to express themselves — and they use every inch of it. What it tastes like

The Cranium opens with licorice, dark cocoa, and a wave of black pepper — an immediate declaration of intent. The Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper is genuinely dark and oily, contributing sweetness that counterbalances the Nicaraguan ligero's power. Through the middle, roasted coffee, leather, and oak dominate, while a subtle sweetness threads through the background. The last third doubles down on earth and spice, with a long, complex finish that lingers. Construction is exceptional; the Cranium burns evenly and smokes cool throughout its generous hour-plus run time.
