New WorldExperiencedPunch Signature Robusto
A bold, spicy robusto from the non-Cuban Punch Signature line — built on a Cuban-seed Ecuador Corojo wrapper grown exclusively for the blend by General Cigar.
Flavor profile
Earthy · Spice
The Punch Signature is a more modern, premium expression of the Honduran-made, non-Cuban Punch brand, and the Robusto — 5 inches at a 54 ring gauge — is its most popular size. It was created by master blender Agustin Garcia at General Cigar's Danli factory, who began cultivating a special Cuban-seed Corojo wrapper in Ecuador back in 2012 specifically for this project.
What it tastes like
That Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper sits over a Connecticut Habano binder and long-filler leaves from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The result is bold and flavorful — spicy up front, with cedar, leather and cinnamon over an earthy base and a peppery edge. It runs medium-full, more assertive than the classic Punch lines, and the robusto format keeps it to a satisfying hour or so.
Who it's for
This is for a smoker who wants the Punch name with extra punch — a richer, spicier cigar with a contemporary blend. If the full body is a touch much, the all-Honduran Punch Gran Puro Santa Rita is earthy but a notch more straightforward, while the Punch Rothschild is gentler still.
