The Padrón 1964 Anniversary Exclusivo is one of the most beloved box-pressed cigars in the world, and the natural-wrapper version shows off a slightly different side of the blend than its maduro twin. Same 5.5 x 50 box-pressed robusto, same all-Nicaraguan tobacco aged four years — just a lighter, sun-grown wrapper.

What it tastes like

Where the maduro leans into cocoa and espresso, the natural is a touch drier and woodier: cedar and coffee lead, backed by toasted almond, a little cream, and a clean white-pepper spice. It still lands medium-full with plenty of body, but the profile feels more classic and "tobacco-forward." As always with Padrón, the construction is impeccable — dead-even burn and an effortless draw.

Who it's for

This is for smokers who want the legendary Padrón balance without the sweeter, darker maduro edge. If you're trying to decide between the two wrappers, try this alongside the Exclusivo Maduro — and read our maduro vs Connecticut primer on how wrapper shade changes flavor.

It's a Nicaraguan icon, so it's a natural anchor for the Cuban vs Nicaraguan debate. Pair it with coffee, and track it in your humidor with the Casa DNC app.
