The Serie V Torpedo takes Oliva's celebrated full-bodied blend and puts it in a tapered, box-pressed format. The pointed head concentrates the smoke and lets you fine-tune the draw, while the 56 ring gauge gives the filler room to show off.

What it tastes like

Under the oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper is a Nicaraguan core built around Jalapa Valley ligero. The result is full but balanced: rich coffee and cocoa up front, sweet cedar through the middle, and an earthy, peppery backbone that keeps it interesting from light to nub. It burns slow and cool for a torpedo.

Who it's for

This is a cigar for people who already like strength and want flavor to match it. It's a fantastic after-dinner smoke. If you're not sure where you land on the strength scale, start with our cigar strength guide, and if the tapered head is new to you, how to cut a cigar covers getting a clean opening.

Track it in your humidor and rate it with the Casa DNC app. If you prefer a slightly shorter, wider smoke, the Serie V Double Robusto is the same blend in a stout format.
