H. Upmann
CubanAficionadosH. Upmann Royal Robusto
A La Casa del Habano exclusive Cuban robusto from H. Upmann — a rich, Edmundo-format 52-ring smoke with cedar, leather and cocoa depth.
The Royal Robusto is a La Casa del Habano exclusive, released in 2011 and limited to a few thousand boxes worldwide. Built on the Edmundo vitola at 5.3 inches by a 52 ring gauge, it delivers around 90 minutes of smoking from Vuelta Abajo tobacco.
What it tastes like
This is one of the richer cigars to wear the H. Upmann band. Expect cedar and leather up front, with coffee, cocoa, and a peppery edge giving it real backbone. It leans toward the fuller end of the range, more robust than the everyday Magnums while keeping the brand's signature balance and smooth construction. Box age suits it well.
Who it's for
A collector's cigar for aficionados who enjoy seeking out boutique Habanos and want a bolder expression of H. Upmann. Give it a relaxed pace and a clear evening. Pair it with an aged rum or strong coffee.
For the standard-line robusto, see the Connoisseur No.1; for the other exclusive in this family, the Connoisseur A. Curious where "medium-full" lands? See our cigar strength guide. Log this rare box in the Casa DNC app.
