New WorldEverydayCrowned Heads Four Kicks Robusto
The cigar that launched Crowned Heads — a 5 x 50 Ecuador Habano Robusto rolled at EP Carrillo's Dominican factory. Cedar, leather, and a creamy, peppery medium body.
Four Kicks was Crowned Heads' very first release back in 2011, and it's still the cigar most people use to introduce someone to the brand. It's rolled at Ernesto Perez-Carrillo's Tabacalera La Alianza factory in the Dominican Republic, even though the blend itself leans Nicaraguan, and the Robusto is the size that put it on the map.
What it tastes like
This is a classic medium-bodied smoke built around an Ecuador Habano wrapper. Expect cedar and leather up front, with notes of cocoa, earth, and a gentle black pepper riding on a creamy, slightly sweet base. It stays smooth and balanced from light to nub, with a touch more strength creeping in over the last couple of inches. Construction is reliably excellent — even burn, easy draw.
Who it's for
The Four Kicks Robusto is an easy recommendation for newer smokers who want something with character but not a wallop, and it's a genuine everyday cigar for veterans too. Because it's a Nicaraguan-forward blend rolled in the Dominican, it's a fun reference point if you're exploring Cuban vs Nicaraguan profiles. New to cutting and lighting?
