Deadwood Tobacco Co. began as a cigar shop in Deadwood, South Dakota, and grew into a Drew Estate brand blended by Willy Herrera. The cigars are aromatic — meaning they use exotic, naturally fragrant tobaccos rather than the heavy botanical infusion of the Acid line. Sweet Jane (5 x 46) is the original and the line's calling card.
What it tastes like
A dark Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper sets a rich, naturally sweet tone. The aromatic tobaccos inside coax out cocoa, coffee, a floral edge, and gentle spice, all carried on the wrapper's maduro sweetness. It's mild-to-medium and smells wonderful — the aromatic character is up front, but it reads more like a sweet, fragrant cigar than an infused one. Construction is smooth and consistent.
