Added to the Línea 1492 in 2002, the Siglo VI is the biggest and most acclaimed of the Siglos — a thick Cañonazo that became an instant modern classic. For many smokers it's the Cohiba: substantial, beautifully balanced, and packed with the brand's signature character. It regularly lands near the top of "best cigar" lists.

What it tastes like

The wider 52 ring gauge gives it body and a cool, generous draw. Expect cedar, cocoa, and coffee, the trademark Cohiba honeyed sweetness, and a layer of leather and gentle spice that builds over a long, satisfying smoke. It's medium-to-full, rich without being heavy, and remarkably consistent.

Who it's for

This is a benchmark Cuban for experienced smokers and a cigar worth saving for a good evening — it runs well over an hour. Pair it with an espresso, an aged rum, or a cognac. If you want to see how Cuba's refined power compares to Nicaragua's, read Cuban vs Nicaraguan.

Given how famous (and faked) it is, buy from a reputable source and keep it humidified. When a box smokes as well as the Siglo VI can, record it in your humidor with the Casa DNC app.
