New WorldEverydayCAO Session Garage
CAO Session Garage is a 5¼ x 54 in dark Connecticut Broadleaf — an unfussy, everyday maduro with cocoa, earth and coffee, built for the man-cave.
The Session was blended by CAO's Rick Rodriguez to be an unpretentious, smoke-it-anywhere cigar — the kind you'd enjoy out in the garage, which is exactly what the Garage size is named for. At 5¼ x 54, it's a double robusto wrapped in a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro over a Dominican binder and Dominican-Nicaraguan filler. It was also the first CAO cigar made at General Cigar Dominicana.
What it tastes like
This is everyday maduro flavor without fuss: cocoa, earth and coffee, with a bit of wood and a peppery edge. It smokes as a relatable medium — leaning toward the fuller side of medium for some — so it's flavorful and easy to enjoy without demanding your full attention. A solid, honest workhorse.
That low-key character is the whole point. The Session is meant to be approachable and affordable, which also makes it a good place for a newer smoker to get comfortable with a maduro. The maduro vs Connecticut comparison and the cigar strength guide are both handy here.
The Session has earned a reputation as a reliable daily smoke. Log the Garage in the Casa DNC app and rate it, then try the richer CAO Bones Chicken Foot if you want a touch more depth.
