New WorldEverydayAshton Cabinet Selection No. 3
The Ashton Cabinet Selection No. 3 is a mild-medium Dominican perfecto under an aged Connecticut Shade wrapper, smooth and nutty with notes of cashew and coffee.
Flavor profile
Creamy · Spice · Roast
The Cabinet Selection is Ashton's obsession-with-aging line, sometimes called the White Burgundy of cigars, and the No. 3 is one of its most graceful shapes. Blended by the Fuente family, it leans on Dominican long-fillers and binder that are matured for several years, wrapped in an aged Connecticut Shade leaf with a soft chestnut hue. The wrapper itself gets an extra year of age before it ever touches a roller.
What it tastes like
This is a refined, mild-to-medium smoke with notes of cashew, almond, a little white pepper, coffee bean, and cream. Compared with the entry-level Classic, the Cabinet adds depth and a velvety texture thanks to all that extra aging, while staying smooth and approachable. The tapered perfecto shape concentrates the flavor as it opens up.
Who it is for
It suits smokers who want elegance and complexity without a big strength hit, and it makes a lovely after-dinner cigar. The line has earned strong Cigar Aficionado scores over the years. If you are deciding between this and a darker wrapper, our Maduro vs Connecticut comparison lays out the trade-offs.
