The Flor Fina 8-5-8 is one of the most recognizable cigars in the Gran Reserva line, and arguably the everyday face of Arturo Fuente. The curious name refers to its balanced, slightly tapered "8-5-8" proportions; the classic version wears a natural Cameroon wrapper.

What it tastes like

This is the Gran Reserva profile at its most dialed-in: cedar and toasted nuts, coffee, cream, and a honeyed sweetness from the Cameroon leaf. It's a smooth, medium-bodied smoke with that signature Fuente balance, and the six-inch corona-gorda format burns evenly through about an hour. Easy to love, hard to fault.

Who it's for

A perfect everyday cigar and a great gateway to Cameroon-wrapped smokes. Approachable for newer smokers who've moved past the mildest sticks, and consistent enough to be a daily go-to for veterans. Pair it with coffee, a cognac, or an aged rum.

There's also a limited Sun Grown version with an Ecuadorian wrapper for a spicier take. For the wrapper basics, see Maduro vs Connecticut; to size up or down in the same blend, try the Churchill or Rothschild. Rate it in the Casa DNC app.
