Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill

Released in 2010, the Wide Churchill was Romeo y Julieta's answer to the trend for thicker cigars. At a hefty 55 ring gauge it's one of the chunkiest Havanas in regular production, and that extra girth changes the experience in a good way.

What it tastes like

The wide format produces a lot of cool, creamy smoke. It's medium-bodied with the familiar Romeo y Julieta profile — cedar, cocoa, and roasted nuts — but the bigger ring rounds everything off and adds a smooth, almost buttery texture, finished with a touch of baking spice. Because there's more filler relative to wrapper, it tends to smoke a little sweeter and milder than the slimmer Romeos.
