Romeo y Julieta Aniversario Churchill

Aniversario was created to celebrate Romeo y Julieta's 130 years in the cigar business, and it's one of the more assertive cigars in the brand's non-Cuban range. It pairs an extensively fermented Ecuador Sumatra wrapper with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder for extra depth.

What it tastes like

This is a medium-bodied smoke that leans slightly spicy and fairly bold for the brand. Expect cedar and roasted nuts joined by leather, a hint of licorice, and an earthy, toasty foundation. The Broadleaf binder and three-nation filler (Dominican, Nicaraguan, Peruvian) give it a dark, rich character that earned it strong critical scores. At 7 by 54 the Churchill is a substantial smoke — set aside well over an hour.

Who it's for

Aniversario suits smokers who find the Reserva Real too mellow and want something with more grip and a darker profile.
