Partagás
CubanAficionadosPartagás Salomones
A huge, double-tapered Partagás showpiece — a La Casa del Habano exclusive figurado that's as challenging to roll as it is to finish.
Flavor profile
Earthy · Roast · Spice · Sweet
The Partagás Salomones is a statement cigar — a massive Double Perfecto (Salomón) at 57 ring gauge and roughly 7.2 inches, tapered at both ends. Released as a La Casa del Habano exclusive in 2008, it's one of the most demanding shapes to roll, and only the most skilled torcedores can pull it off.
What it tastes like
This is full-bodied Partagás at its most generous. The double-perfecto shape opens narrow, swells through a huge belly, then tapers to the foot, and the flavor evolves right along with it: earth, leather and espresso at the core, with spice and dark chocolate weaving through. That enormous ring gauge keeps the smoke cool and the burn slow, giving the blend room to shift and deepen over a long sitting.
Who it's for
This is an aficionado's cigar and an occasion in its own right — set aside a couple of hours, pair it with a cognac or an aged rum, and enjoy the show. The tapered head wants a careful cut and a patient light. It's not a starting point; if you're newer to the marca, begin with the Serie D No. 4. A cigar this rare deserves a proper entry — record it in the Casa DNC app.
