The No.2 is H. Upmann's celebrated torpedo, built on the Piramides figurado at 6.1 inches by a 52 ring gauge. The tapered head and dense, even construction make it one of the more eye-catching cigars in the Cuban catalog, and it's rolled entirely from Vuelta Abajo leaf.

What it tastes like

This is a hearty yet silky medium-bodied smoke. Expect waves of sweet cocoa, coffee bean, roasted nuts, and cinnamon, with leather and cedar underneath and a pinch of black pepper for lift. Smoked young it's an easygoing medium; given a few years of age, the strength and complexity intensify nicely. The pyramid tip concentrates the smoke for a focused draw.

Who it's for

A favorite for smokers who appreciate a figurado and want more depth than a standard corona. The torpedo head benefits from a clean cut, so take your time clipping it. Pair it with coffee or an aged rum.
