When Davidoff went to Nicaragua, it didn't do things halfway: this is a full Nicaraguan puro wrapped in a Habano Rosado leaf that was aged for a decade before being rolled. The Toro, at 5½ by 54, is the heart of the line and a real departure from Davidoff's elegant Dominican classics.

What it tastes like

This is bold, characterful Nicaraguan tobacco refined by Davidoff's blending. Expect espresso, black pepper, dark chocolate, cedar, and an earthy core, all delivered with more polish than most Nicaraguan puros of this strength. It sits at medium-to-full, with the long-aged wrapper adding a smooth, sweet-spice edge that keeps the power in check.

Who it's for

This is one for experienced smokers who love Nicaraguan body and want to taste what Davidoff does outside its comfort zone. It's an after-dinner cigar that stands up to a bourbon or an aged rum.

To understand how this tobacco differs from the brand's Dominican smokes and from Cuban leaf, see our Cuban vs Nicaraguan guide. If you like the size, the box-pressed Davidoff Nicaragua Diadema is a striking figurado on the same blend, and the Davidoff Nicaragua Robusto is the shorter option. Log it in the Casa DNC app.
