New WorldExperienced smokersCohiba Serie M Toro
The first Cohiba rolled in the USA — General Cigar's Serie M Toro, hand-made in Miami with a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper and a bold, savory profile.
Cohiba Serie M (the "M" is for Miami) broke new ground for the brand: it was the first Cohiba made in the United States, rolled at the small El Titán de Bronze factory in Miami's Little Havana, and the first Cohiba to wear a Nicaraguan wrapper. The original is a 6 x 52 Toro, and it's a more boutique, hands-on take on the non-Cuban Cohiba idea.
What it tastes like
This is a medium-to-full, savory smoke built on a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper: cedar, espresso, and leather, with earth and a steady pepper kick. It's bolder and more rustic than General Cigar's Dominican Cohibas, leaning into the strength and spice that Nicaraguan tobacco brings. The small-factory roll gives it a careful, hand-crafted feel.
Who it's for
A good pick for experienced smokers who want something bolder and a bit different from the usual Cohiba lineup. Pair it with an espresso, a bourbon, or an aged rum. Want to see how Nicaraguan-forward blends compare to Cuban Cohibas? See Cuban vs Nicaraguan.
