The Secretos is the smallest of Cohiba's Maduro 5 trio — a short petit corona on a 40 ring gauge. The Maduro 5 line, introduced in 2007, is the only Cuban Cohiba with a maduro wrapper, aged five years for a darker, sweeter character, and the Secretos is the easiest way to try it in a quick smoke.
What it tastes like
For such a small cigar, it carries plenty of flavor. Expect cocoa, coffee, and cedar with dark-fruit sweetness and a soft spice from the maduro wrapper. It's medium-bodied and smooth — a touch lighter than the bigger Genios and Magicos, and a genuinely enjoyable 30-minute Havana.
