CAO Amazon Basin Toro

The Amazon Basin is one of CAO's most distinctive cigars, built around a genuinely rare ingredient: Bragança, a tobacco grown deep in the Brazilian Amazon and harvested only once every three years. Instead of a paper band, the rollers wrap a twisted rope of Bragança leaf around each cigar — a look you won't find anywhere else. The Toro measures a slim 5⅝ x 46.

What it tastes like

This is the rare cigar that's sweet, floral, spicy and savory all at once. The Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and Nicaraguan binder frame a filler of that special Bragança plus Colombian and Dominican leaf, and the combination is genuinely unusual — earthy and exotic, with a sweetness that's hard to pin down.
