New WorldExperienced smokersCamacho Ecuador Toro
The Toro in Camacho's Ecuadorian Habano line — a peppery, floral, complex smoke with a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and extra length over the Robusto.
Flavor profile
Spice · Earthy · Fruity · Herbal · Sweet
The Camacho Ecuador trades Corojo for a spicy Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and Honduran-Dominican fillers, a combination that's pulled in repeated 90-plus scores from Cigar Aficionado. The Toro gives that complex, bold blend more room to unfold.
What it tastes like
Expect a medium-to-full cigar that comes out of the gate peppery and aromatic. Black pepper leads, then cedar, citrus, and floral notes layer in over an earthy core, with a cocoa sweetness that tends to show up in the second half. The Mata Fina binder and Dominican Pelo de Oro give it an extra dimension you won't find in the all-Corojo Camacho. The Toro length makes the transitions easier to follow.
Who it's for
For experienced smokers chasing complexity and body in one cigar, and happy to sit with it. If you're comparing this against the brand's flagship, the Camacho Corojo Toro is the obvious A/B — same brand, very different wrapper.
